SURE PROOF OF GOD'S HEALING POWER

A year ago, my husband, three children, and I moved to another state for our new jobs. Our decision to accept our work and move took place in just three weeks—weeks filled with details, anticipation about our new assignments, and the emotion of leaving friends and familiar surroundings behind.

The day after we arrived we were all enjoying dinner at a restaurant, when I began to experience a lot of pain. By the time we got home, I needed help getting up the stairs to our bedroom. I could barely breathe and was becoming confused. I asked my husband to call a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me.

The healing method taught by Christian Science was my choice since practicing it had always been effective, bringing my family and me quick relief whatever the situation. I'd even helped others through prayer. So for me, turning to God was the safest, most intelligent thing I could possibly do. Yet right then, as my situation worsened, I felt like I could barely think, let alone remember how to pray.
