LET YOUR WORK APPEAR TO YOUR SERVANTS, AND YOUR GLORY TO THEIR CHILDREN. AND LET THE BEAUTY OF THE LORD OUR GOD BE UPON US, AND ESTABLISH THE WORK OF OUR HANDS FOR US.—PSALMS 90:16, 17 (NEW KING JAMES VERSION)

LET GOD LEAD

READY FOR A CALMER, SURER JOB SEARCH? LET GOD SHOW THE WAY—AND WHAT YOU HAVE TO GIVE.

"CATERPILLAR'S JOB CUTS HIT 20,000." "GM Announces 2,000 Job Cuts." "Phillips Electronics to shed 6,000 workers." "Home Depot retrenchment cuts 7,000 positions." "IBM Slashes 2,800 Jobs In Sales, Software Units."

These headlines were not compiled from last month's or even last week's news. They are all, as I write, from today's headlines. The global economic picture is darkening. A lot of people need jobs. And finding a job during a recession filled with layoffs and cutbacks is daunting. But, there is light that can break through this dark view. I've found that a persistent, prayer-inspired approach cancels the fear and negative forecasts. When God takes the lead in an employment search, wonderful things do happen.
