ANY ONE CAN BE A HEALER

A NATURAL CHOICE

AS A JOYOUS STEP FORWARD IN MY LIFE, in 1970 I was accepted for Primary class instruction in Christian Science. That instruction—which consisted of 12 sessions—has proved to be a great benefit—one that is still unfolding.

Then in 1981, I began training to become a Christian Science nurse. The spiritual growth that training required built on what class instruction had given me, and has provided wonderful opportunities to expand my demonstration of Christian Science.

Where did the motivation to pursue Christian Science nursing come from—particularly when I had permanent certification to teach art and home economics in grades K-12? My great gratitude for Christian Science and the sanity-saving, satisfying, healing truths it shares compelled me. That overwhelming sense of gratitude has never waned. I realize at the time that all the talents and skills I possessed could be put to use in Christian Science nursing work, and this has proved true.
