RADICAL, HEALING FORGIVENESS

IT WAS one of those really silly things that start because of a complete misunderstanding and then grow into something totally and ridiculously out of hand.

We were normally so close, having been brought up together, and now she couldn't seem to get over her deep disappointment with my decision. I felt terrible about letting her down and apologized. Yet for most of the next two years we rarely spoke to one another, which just broke my heart.
