MOSES at the MOUNTAIN

Moses went to Mount Horeb.
It was as high as the sky.
He was tending the sheep,
when a sight he did see:
a burning tree!
The tree was aflame,
though it did not burn down.
The place where Moses stood
was holy ground.
God spoke to Moses.
He answered, "Here am I always,
ready to obey and oblige."
"Go to Egypt, My children set free.
You must do it for ME."
So, Moses replied, "Why choose me
to go through with this task?
If I go to the people of Israel,
Your name they will ask."
"Tell them I AM WHO I AM is
the one who sent you.
Now, trusting in Me
you can do what you must do."
