GOD'S CARE IS HERE AND NOW

About ten years ago, after being divorced and trying to make it on my own, I came to a difficult crossroad when my last child was about to enter college. Not only was I feeling grief for her leaving, but my child support was also ending, and I didn't know how I would support myself. I was teaching and selling my own art at the time, but I didn't really make enough to support a home and a separate studio.

I didn't know what to do with my life. I looked at job possibilities in many cities. I was feeling frantic, but I knew God had guided me through previous experiences, and that His good would not stop now.

I decided to write down all the thoughts of lack that were bombarding me. Then I wrote down all of the qualities I wanted to see expressed in my life and home, such as comfort, activity, and love. I claimed these qualities as my inheritance from God, which was already mine. My list became one of gratitude for the provisions of home and abundance that God had established for me.
