My dog and I—happy again

My dog Jake's tail was hurt, and he could not wag it. I was feeling very unhappy about this one Sunday morning when I went to Sunday School. In my Sunday School class we talked about what God made. All the animals and everything God created are spiritually perfect. We thought about what Mary Baker Eddy wrote: "All of God's creatures, moving in the harmony of Science, are harmless, useful, indestructible" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 514). I knew my dog was God's creature. He could only be how God made him perfect! I felt much better. The following week, when I went back to Sunday School, I could tell my class that Jake was fine and wagging his tail perfectly.
