Abbie and the jellyfish

My name is Abbie. I go to Herndon Elementary School in Virginia, and I'm in the fourth grade. For fun I like to watch TV and play with my family.

I was in Florida with my dad's parents, and we went to the beach. My daddy and my mommy and I were in the ocean, and my arm got stung, I think, by a jellyfish. I saw red bumps on my arm, and it really started to hurt. I was scared, so I jumped on my daddy. And then the sting got on my face, and I started wiping it really hard.

My daddy carried me back to the shore, and I sat out for a while and thought about God. My daddy told me lots of things about God, like "God is all-loving and didn't make anything to hurt you."
