YOUR LETTERS

The term "kids" for children is popular and catchy. But one dictionary defines kids, in part, as "goats; vulgar, a young child."

These phrases identify with the second part of the definition Mary Baker Eddy gives in Science and Health for children: "Sensual and mortal beliefs ..." (p. 583).

Is there really something in a name? If so, then, "The spiritual thoughts and representatives of Life, Truth, and Love," the first part of that definition in Science and Health (p. 582) must have its rightful due.
