Spiritual seekers, including those who regularly read, or write for, this magazine, aren't generally taken by surprise at what's possible when one puts his or her faith in God and understands even a little of the divine power that heals. They're familiar with the healing and transforming effect of God's power on people's lives. The fact that someone prayed and was healed of a recurring physical disease as troubling as asthma, for instance, is considered not only a marvelous experience, but a very natural one.

As you read our Cover Story this week, and the account of the healing of asthma that accompanies it, it's helpful to remember just how natural healing is for any of us when we are governed by God. Christ Jesus' life is an outstanding example of one who naturally worshiped God, divine Love; who naturally reflected and expressed this Love throughout his travels and his encounters with others; and who showed his students and followers for all time the naturalness of healing when divine Love permeates our lives.

We invite you to explore the valuable spiritual lessons and healings within the pages of this week's Sentinel—the features, testimonies, and the editorial. They show what happens when we catch sight of the true nature of each of us as the image and likeness of God, Love. They help us to discover our own propensity to love God. to love our fellowman, and to avail ourselves of the divine power that heals disease and ends suffering, naturally.
