Can there be diversity and unity?

We all have the same Father.

I GREW UP AND live in one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. Over a hundred languages and dialects are spoken within a few square miles of where I live. My neighbors are a microcosm of most of the races and cultures on the planet. I delight in this diversity, and I am pleased that my children are also growing up in a rich ethnic and cultural environment that stimulates their artistic and intellectual curiosity about the world.

To me, this diversity of cultures and races hints at the infinite diversity of God's creation. As well as the infinite variety and diversity among God's children, there is also spiritual unity, since there is only one God. The great creator is the infinite One, who expresses infinite individuality in His children, the image or idea of God, divine Spirit.
