Once, as a small child, I treated a friend rather badly for having been unkind to me. I didn't want to forgive her, and I decided that to make things right in God's eyes I would give up riding my bike for two weeks instead. So I stayed angry with my friend and sacrificed my bike.

Those bad traits you thought were yours for life aren't actually you at all.
