When a burn on my knee became infected, I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help. Although I knew very little of how she was praying for me, I was healed.

I was a teenager at the time, and had come to the conclusion that I didn't particularly like God. But then I read a little of Christian Science, in the home of a very kind woman, and asked her many questions about her religion. I decided I was going to join her Church some day, because of the answers I obtained as to who I was and why I was.

Eventually I did join The Mother Church. There were many trials in my life, and Christian Science practitioners helped me to pray for healing and guidance. Two healings come to mind here.
