The doing of it

I, too, would act
boldly
as Jesus taught.
Calling myself out of the Lazarus dream
out of the tomb of terror/disease/pain,
"Come forth!"
Come out of matter's grave mistakes
and lies.
Come forth unbound
unlimited and live
for God is Life
and man is God's own child.

I, too, would act
instantly
as Jesus taught.
Denouncing fearful, ignorant decrees
with Christ's swift word revealed as law.
"Awake!" "Rise up!" "Be whole!"
Perceiving divine facts that heal
I would know that God is here—
is All
and I am one with Him.

I, too, would act humbly
and acting learn.
And learning love
to live the deep Science
of this dear Christ, Truth,
which Jesus our Way-shower
knew/proved /taught
in daily demonstration to mankind.

Loving to be Christ's disciple
I pray that whenever
bid to walk upon the waters
of material beliefs
I will neither doubt nor sink
when Christ's voice summons, Come.
I, too, would act without fear
boldly
instantly
humbly
with the discipline and the Science
that heals—

and trusting God
rise to whatever task is at hand
and do it.
