As a thankful student of Christian Science, I wish to express my gratitude for many years of protection, spiritual growth, and healings. I have never sent in a written record of healing but feel it is high time I do, for I have so appreciated contributions from others.

Years ago, as a young mother of a two-year-old son, I had a painful lump in one breast. There was a Christian Science practitioner in our neighborhood, so I made arrangements to see her. (I knew a little about Science then, because of a relative who had been healed through its teachings.)

When the practitioner and I were together, she lovingly and confidently told me many spiritual truths. Then at my request she prayed for me. I went home so filled with joy and trust in God, I hardly gave the situation another thought until I realized the next day I no longer had any pain. About two days later, when I was bathing, the lump drained. That was the end of the problem. I dressed, went straight to the telephone, and called the practitioner to tell her the good news. What a tremendous proof on which to begin my full reliance on God for the coming years.
