In the fourteen years since my first testimony was published, I have had many healings through Christian Science. I am especially grateful for the healing of physical difficulties because I was tempted, at the beginning of my study of Christian Science, to feel a little unsure about relying on spiritual means for all physical healing. Yet my love of God and this Science was such that I never desired to turn anywhere else for healing. The doubt did not long remain in the face of the evidence that the power of Truth and Love does heal.

Many years ago I discovered I had warts spreading on the bottom of my feet. In praying for a healing, I affirmed the allness of God and recognized that evil or disease cannot exist, since God, good, is All and ever present. I wasn't frightened for I was confident that divine Love would meet the need.

When the healing did not come readily, I realized that while I was affirming God's allness and power, I was acting contrary to my affirmations. I was walking gingerly to avoid bearing down on the affected areas. I then turned away from concentrating on the problem, thanked God for His care, and proceeded to walk in a normal manner. Shortly I forgot all about the warts until many weeks later, when I discovered they were gone.
