"The variability of Time is a natural and inevitable consequence of Einstein's discovery that Time and Space cannot be discussed separately, but are aspects of a single entity which he called Space-Time.

"... the rate at which time flows in any system—inside a spaceship, for example—depends upon the speed with which that system is moving, and also upon the gravitational fields it is experiencing.
