"Be still, and know that I am God" (Ps. 46:10)

"Be still, and know that I am God" (Ps. 46:10). Divine Love is present, and Love is much more powerful than all human afflictions.

It is with profound gratitude to God and Christian Science that I give this testimony. Five years ago I was healed through Christian Science of a serious head injury.

I had visited in the home of my brother and his wife. When evening came they accompanied me to the bus on which I was to return to my home. It was autumn, and the street was covered with leaves that were slippery. When the bus approached I fell and hit my head against the bus. People who were there, including my brother, lifted me into the bus, which took me to the hospital. I remember having quietly denied the accident, in spite of great suffering. When the doctors arrived I appeared to be unconscious, and they felt it was urgent to operate, because of internal bleeding. But I was not unconscious; I never lost consciousness.
