I want to give this testimony to express my gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and for Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for all the blessings received in physical healings, and for all the proofs I have had of God's care and provision.

One of the most important demonstrations for me was that of supply. My husband had passed on unexpectedly a short time before; my son and I found ourselves with serious financial problems. My son was seventeen years old, without much experience in the business of his father, who was a dealer in potatoes. My son wanted to plant the potatoes himself and did so, planting five hectares in the Alvear zone. Shortly after he had sown them, a storm came up, with so much rain that it flooded all the fields. My son was in despair, because the water was going to ruin the whole harvest.

Then I went to a Christian Science practitioner to explain the problem to her. With much kindness and firmness she said to me: "Remember that God is the only power. God is always present. Evil has no power, no place nor law. Every time discouragement would invade your thought, remember this. Mrs. Eddy tells us (Science and Health, p. 494): 'Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.'"
