Arguing with God?

Have you ever prayed for guidance—or maybe for more inspiration (can we ever have too much?)—and received a message that seemed way out? I have—often. And, I must admit, many times I have failed to see how this could possibly help. I would argue that this just wasn't the answer for me.

But, after a few false starts, I'd soon see the light: "OK," I'd say, "if this is what I should do, I'll go ahead." And I would be off and running the right way, God's way.

See Acts 10; He quickly replied, "Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean." And, as it is recorded, "the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common."
