Holding Thought to the True

The Scriptural promise "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee" Isa. 26:3; is literally fulfilled in the experience of all those who know God, divine Life and Love, as the source and sustainer of all true being.

To trust God implicitly means to relinquish all faith in any other power or presence but the divine; it means divesting thought of fear and doubt in order that the liberating truths of immortal Mind may have free course. Because we place reliance on the omnipotence of God, divine Mind, we have the right to expect His guidance and protection in human affairs. Trusting in the eternal goodness of divine Love's omnipresence, we know we cannot fail to experience its all-embracing comfort and care.

Such radical trust in God, good, maintains one in health and harmony, for thought consciously stayed on God and His perfect creation as the only reality cannot at the same time be aware of discord and inharmony.
