"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. ... My cup...

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. ... My cup runneth over." So we read in the twenty-third Psalm (verses 1, 5). This has been my experience since taking up the study of Christian Science thirty-five years ago. And mine is not a lone experience. Indeed, I am sure that all students of this wonderful religion will echo my words when I say that it is quite impossible to list the many and wonderful experiences and blessings a sincere study of this Science brings.

Outstanding to me are the satisfying action of "belonging" to this great movement as a member of The Mother Church, class instruction from a dedicated teacher and the yearly association meeting, the sacred experience of Readership in a branch church, the peace which comes by ending the day in quiet communion "in the secret place of the most High" (Ps. 91:1).

I am grateful for the precious years spent with little children as a teacher and as superintendent in a branch church Sunday School. Isaiah writes (11:6), "A little child shall lead them." This was true in my case. I wavered on the brink for a long time while a little five-year-old niece often told me, "Now, Auntie, you are God's spiritual idea, so you can't be tired," or "You are not hurt, so don't believe that you are" until I began to ponder these words (Prov. 23:7): "As [a man] thinketh in his heart, so is he."
