I am unable to put into words my sincere appreciation of the wonderful healing I had through Christian Science twenty years ago. I had had two serious operations for a severe case of cancer. I was very ill, and was sent from business, in a state of collapse, to the hotel where I was residing.

The doctor called, and I was informed of the very distressing news that next morning the ambulance would come to take me to hospital, but that there was very little hope of my recovery and it was only a Question of time, as they could do no more for me.

Shortly after the doctor had left, the hotel manageress, who was very concerned, sent to my room one of the guests who happened to be a Christian Scientist. She spoke to me in a very compassionate way of how Christian Science heals, and I immediately said, "If it can heal others, it can do the same for me." I was so very grateful at that time to relinquish all medicine and drugs and turn completely to God. The Christian Scientist very kindly contacted a practitioner for me on the telephone, and during the night the intense pain and suffering ceased. I was able the next morning to take a little food, and during the evening I sat up in a chair. I continued to regain my strength, to the astonishment of all.
