God has been my only physician for about thirty-eight years.

Christian Science was presented to me by a sister who was saved from an operation for appendicitis and was healed through Christian Science treatment instead. My sister was so grateful for her healing that she handed me the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and said, "Here, read this. If anyone needs this, you do." I read several testimonies in the back of the book in the chapter entitled "Fruitage." Then I wondered, "Where have I been all this time?" I took that precious book home with me and called a Christian Science practitioner for treatment.

I had always been under a doctor's care since childhood and was considered a frail girl. My husband was much in favor of my taking up the study, and we both were encouraged to see the way I was progressing day by day. I disposed of every bottle of medicine and pills, knowing that divine Mind was my medicine and healer. I started attending church services regularly and began to feel much better as I learned my true relationship with God.
