For very wise parents who placed me in the Christian Science Sunday School and who adopted the study of Christian Science and made it their way of life, I am deeply grateful. Freedom from all children's diseases, with the exception of measles, was mine. My mother was healed of paralysis in one treatment.

After my marriage to a Christian Scientist, I realized there could be no other physician for me or my family but God; and whenever a problem arose, we always turned to Him for healing. We have experienced over the years healings of scarlet fever, flu, colds, allergies, the effects of a fall, and grief.

For a recent healing of arthritis, I am most grateful. Fear of the disease was expressed all around me in almost every conversation and in advertising on television. I thought I had been very careful to destroy this fear in my thinking; so when some of the symptoms began to develop, I was truly surprised. I prayed as we are taught in Christian Science to know that as a child of God I could not manifest an ungodlike condition. In the truth of my spiritual being, I always had been and was right then able to express every right activity.
