RADIO PROGRAM NO. 268 - Are Angels Obsolete? Part II

Questioner: In our last program you defined angels as right ideas, or thoughts from God—thoughts which are directed to us in our particular condition—in other words, what we might call divine guidance. As you said, there is desperate need for such angel thoughts in our world today.

Now, the question I was about to ask last week when we closed was, How do we prepare ourselves to become receptive to these angel thoughts, or right ideas from God, which you said are available to each and every one of us? I said that I didn't think that some of us could identify spiritual intuitions in our lives, but I would like to know how we can prepare ourselves to hear these thoughts or to feel them.

Speaker: One point that you raise I'd very much like to speak about for a moment. You speak of thoughts which come directly to us from God to meet our specific need. I think this needs clarification. It seems to me that God, being infinite, ever-present Love, is always knowing and caring for every one of His children. This constant, unchanging Love manifests itself to us in terms of our own need in the way that we can understand it.
