Jesus' Works: Truly Scientific

Christian Science teaches that in the degree of our our spiritual understanding we can emulate the works of Jesus. His works still remain unequaled in human history and surpass anything which material science achieve. Mrs. Eddy says: "Jesus of Nazareth was the most scientific man that ever trod the globe. He plunged beneath the material surface of things, and found the spiritual cause." Science and Health, p. 313;

Modern drugs and the latest methods of medical treatment have not accomplished what Jesus did when he instantly healed the sick with a few spoken words of spiritual Truth. Medical methods may change, but divine Love's gift of health to man is invariable and present here and for our acceptance.

Fast airplanes cross the ocean in a few hours, but the Bible relates that a ship crossing the Sea of Galilee was immediately at its destination after Jesus entered it. Jesus understood the spiritual nature of the universe and man; he knew that are not governed by material laws but by the laws of divine Principle, God. Jesus proved that the restrictive, limiting beliefs of matter must submit to divine laws.
