Man, the Complete Idea of Mind

There is in the world today a great need for those who are willing to go beyond the confines of their proven talents and who dare to extend the borders of their activities. Paralleling this need are scores of individuals potentially capable of filling it.

But what will inspire an individual and enable him to improve his talents and realize his potential? Mrs. Eddy supplies the answer. Speaking of man as the image of God, she states, "He is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas." Science and Health, p. 475; Later she continues describing man as "that which has not a single quality underived from Deity."

The understanding that man is a complete idea and includes every Christlike quality will supply the individual with what is essential to his full development and will exclude from his consciousness every ungodlike trait or belief that might act as a deterrent to his progress.
