The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on June 19, 1966.

The whole body of things and phenomena; the totality of material entities; cosmos; a systematic whole held to arise by and persist through the direct intervention of divine power; the world of human experience; this earth that is the seat of mankind; also the inhabitants of earth; human beings; the entire celestial cosmos.

Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (Ps. 29:2)

Among translators there is some uncertainty as to the meaning of the phrase translated "beauty of holiness." Thus Briggs translates it, "Render worship to Yahweh in holy ornaments": and Moffatt, "Worship the Eternal in festal attire."
