Christian Science has been of invaluable help to me in settling a small estate that involved complications. It took almost two years to settle and required of me patience and more patience. I am grateful for the help of a practitioner's prayers when needed.

At one point the thought came to me that I did not have to get rid of a dishonest person or persons but that I had to banish the belief that there ever was a time or place when God's truth and justice were not present. Dishonesty cropped up at various times and places during this experience. I found that justice was manifested in my affairs as I clung to the truth of God's perfect justice, operating everywhere. At another stage when a lawyer was asking for a large sum of money, I told him that if he were paid that much, there would not be much left for anyone else. Then the reverse of this came to me instantly through the understanding of Christian Science. I realized that man has all the resources of God, good, for all time to come.

When affairs were at a standstill this reference from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy came to me and was helpful (p. 506): "Spirit, God, gathers unformed thoughts into their proper channels, and unfolds these thoughts, even as He opens the petals of a holy purpose in order that the purpose may appear."
