I have been a member of The Mother Church for about thirty years and wish to express gratitude for its marvelous protection and guidance in my pilgrimage from sense to Soul. In recent years class instruction has enabled me to participate confidently in branch church affairs and has inspired me to give numerous testimonies to help the unprejudiced seeker of Truth, always bearing in mind that spiritual healing is the sign of Immanuel, "God with us."

I have been healed in Christian Science of many physical disabilities, such as shingles, jaundice, muscular rheumatism, and defective eyesight. The smoking and drinking habits have been overcome.

With regard to the muscular rheumatism, I returned from Hong Kong after a three-year tour of duty there and was granted sick leave to allow time for the healing of this disability. I was thirty pounds underweight. Before I asked for Christian Science help. I tried the effect of massage from a hospital expert to relieve the pain; and after about ten days of drastic treatment I was kindly and politely informed that my condition was chronic and could never be cured by the medical faculty. It was too late, a specialist said. So I turned wholeheartedly to Christian Science for comfort, guidance, and healing and asked a practitioner to give me treatment.
