Church Dedications

Whiting, Indiana (First Church).

Members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Whiting, will dedicate their church on Sunday, September 22, with services at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

A Christian Science Society was organized in East Chicago on February 8, 1914. [On September 9, 1924, it was recognized by The Mother Church] as First Church of Christ, Scientist, Whiting. Church services were held in the Masonic Temple until the present edifice was built in 1955.
