We have had the opportunity of rearing a family with the aid of the truth as presented to us through Christian Science, and this gives us much to be grateful for. God's goodness is continually made known to us in our daily application and proof of the healing efficacy of the Christ.

One healing which occurred almost three years ago has been especially precious to me because of the many lessons learned thereby. My husband and I were expecting our third baby. However, this child was to be the first one born after we had begun to study Science; that was a little over two years earlier.

The physician we engaged to attend the birth diagnosed toxemia rather early in the pregnancy, and she somewhat reluctantly gave me permission to work it out according to Christian Science. I began to do prayerful work and asked a practitioner to give me treatment.
