I had accepted Christian Science as the truth for many years, but it was not until about twenty years ago that I seriously began the study of it.

During the first year of serious study I experienced three wonderful healings. The wholehearted acceptance of this teaching alone bestowed these blessings, because I had not acquired much understanding of the truth at that time. The first one, after I had striven to put into practice the little I did understand, was an instantaneous healing of headaches which had held me in bondage for many years.

After I had held in thought for one day this citation, found on page 463 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive," a troublesome corn disappeared from one of my toes, and I was also healed of chapped hands.
