I have had many proofs of God's tender, loving care through the application of Christian Science. Christ Jesus said (John 8:32), "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Several years ago I experienced a physical breakdown; I was not confined to bed, but I had a sense of weakness and frustration. My walking was slow; this gave me much concern, for I usually moved about quickly. I had prayerful work done by a practitioner. Several weeks passed by, but I did not get my complete healing. Then one day the practitioner said to me, "Now, if you want to bear false witness against matter, then do so, but do not bear false witness against God and man." This awakened my thought, and I prayed earnestly to be a good witness to the truth of man's perfection as God's reflection.

My strength came back, and I was able to walk normally again. Then I understood clearly the truth of this statement of Mrs. Eddy's (Science and Health, p. 14): "Entirely separate from the belief and dream of material living, is the Life divine, revealing spiritual understanding and the consciousness of man's dominion over the whole earth."
