RADIO PROGRAM No. 395 - Solving Problems of Human Relations

SPEAKER: In these days there seems to be a great need for solving problems of human relations. Even in our own experience, we may become involved in arguments in the home or in personality clashes at the office. But there is a solution to domestic discord and to problems in human relationships. And today we're going to talk about it. It's an enduring and satisfying solution that comes through prayer and a spiritual understanding of God as divine Love. For an actual example of the effectiveness of this solution, let's listen to Mrs. Vernice Weber, of Harvey, Illinois, as she tells her experience.

MRS. WEBER: I learned of Christian Science about sixteen years ago at a time of great need. There were a number of physical problems: migraine headaches, which were getting worse, and also a condition diagnosed as migratory rheumatism. I was in a very bad mental state and on the verge of a nervous breakdown. But that wasn't all. There was also a domestie problem—incessant quarreling. I was very resentful, bitter, unforgiving, and so unhappy. The world I lived in was pretty dark.

Then I became friendly with a Christian Scientist in the office where I worked. I asked her many questions about her religion, especially the healing. I'd always tried to understand God, but the Bible seemed a great mystery to me. She told me there wasn't any problem, physical, financial, human relationships—no matter what it was—that couldn't be solved through the understanding of God.
