My first testimony was published in The Christian Science Journal in November, 1954, and now I should again like to express joy and gratitude for another beautiful healing that took place in the early part of last year.

I do not know what a medical diagnosis would have called the illness; it never entered my thought to turn to anything but Christian Science treatment, although the error took a crippling form. For about a week I could use neither my hands nor my legs, and there was much discoloration and pain.

One night, when the pain seemed very severe, I prayed to God to give me just a glimpse of the Christ, Truth, that would help me to see the unreality of the suffering. At once I had my answer in these words (Luke 15:31): "Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine." That little word "all" filled my consciousness, and I thought: Why, I need not ask for just a glimpse of the Christ, Truth. All the love and tender care of the Father are mine right now.
