Signs of the Times

From an editorial in the Bible Society Record New York, New York

Whether the human setting changes from the sundial to the modern atomic elapsed-time clock, the problems and processes of human hearts have remained the same for centuries and can only find their solution as "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son" (Hebrews 1:1-2), and now speaks to men and women through the written Word.

[The Bible] is therefore much more than a book. It is a living force that is never outmoded or out of date. It has meaning for every generation and brings into proper focus the Word of Life for every dilemma, every peril, every heartache and every pain of the human heart.
