From the time I was a small child I have had every reason to be grateful to Mary Baker Eddy for her great revelation, Christian Science. Through this religion my mother was healed of a difficulty which doctors had diagnosed as a diseased condition of the nervous system and had pronounced incurable. Her healing was a quick and permanent one; it proved that God's perfect, spiritual law destroys material, man-made theories.

Immediately after her healing she began earnestly to study the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and in a few years she had the great privilege of taking class instruction with Mrs. Eddy.

Before coming into Christian Science, my mother worried so much about the safety of her children that she never went away for one night without first finding out if our good family physician would be free to go to our home if there should be a need. But after studying with Mrs. Eddy, she was able to place her children in God's care and know they were enveloped in the Father's love.
