In gratitude for all the good that has come to me from the study of Christian Science and for the help I receive from the testimonies in The Christian Science Journal and the Sentinel, I submit this testimony. It is my hope that someone may be encouraged by it as I have been by other testimonies. I am grateful for having been healed of periodic headaches, which lasted for days at a time, of influenza, and of other ailments. Supply has been manifested, and business problems have been solved.

One of the first healings I witnessed was that of my mother. I received a telegram asking me to come home to her, because she had had two strokes. One had paralyzed her left side, and the other had paralyzed her throat so that she could not even drink. As I read the telegram, the words, "God is Life," came as clearly to my thought as if they had been written on the telegram. Those three words stayed with me all the way home.

On arrival I learned that the doctor who had been called in by the family had said my mother could not live until midnight. Through treatment by a Christian Science practitioner, however, in two weeks she was completely restored to health and had the full use of all her faculties. Moreover, she did not have a third stroke, which the doctor had said was imminent.
