A sense of deep gratitude for the innumerable blessings which have come into my life through the study of Christian Science prompts me to send this testimony. A former testimony of mine appeared many years ago in the Sentinel. As I have come to understand more clearly through the study of this great Science the true nature of God as infinite Love, my whole life has been transformed. Mrs. Eddy states in her Message to The Mother Church for 1902 (pp. 8, 9), "Spiritual love makes man conscious that God is his Father, and the consciousness of God as Love gives man power with untold furtherance."

I have experienced many healings, both mental and physical. Some years ago I was healed of a severe breakdown which resulted in a form of paralysis. My fear was intense, and the tendency to lose consciousness was always with me. The healing was a slow one, for I had much to learn and much of self to give up.

It became clear to me that my great need was to love more, and these words became a beacon on my path (I John 4:20): "He that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?"
