This testimony is given in the hope that it may help others as I have been helped by the encouraging messages of our periodicals.

I first attended a Church of Christ, Scientist, at the invitation of a woman who had been healed of severe headaches. The wonderful sense of peace I found convinced me that I had gained a better understanding of God than I had received in the orthodox churches.

At this time I met the man who has since become my husband, and at my invitation he also began attending the services. Together we began the study of the weekly Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly and applied what we learned to our daily problems. My mother, who was at first hostile to Christian Science, witnessed the healing, without medical aid, of a felon on my finger, and she wrote to my aunt, "There must be something in Christian Science." She herself was later healed through the help of a practitioner after physicians had given her only one week to live.
