THE LAND OF CHRISTIAN SCIENCE

Here is a land alight with joyous hope,
Making each dawn a glad awakening;
For inspiration brightens vale and slope,
And every season brings fresh blossoming.
Here is a land where grace and wisdom reign,
Under whose statutes there is equity;
We can walk upright, victors over pain.
Buoyed by the knowledge that the truth makes free.
Here is a land where limitations fade.
And the horizon knows no temporal bound.
Love, the defender, lets no foe invade
This peaceful haven where true home is found.
O patient pilgrim, gracious welcome waits
For you and me within these wide-flung gates.
