Precious treasure, thou art mine:
Mine to tell me whence I came;
Mine to tell me what I am.

These words from the Christian Science Hymnal (No. 114) summarize the feeling of Christian Scientists toward the Scriptures. It is to them indeed a precious volume, an indispensable guide. It reveals God as the only source of man and the universe, the Life of all creation.
