"BELOVED, NOW ARE WE THE SONS OF GOD"

Let us join in the exultation
Of the singing angel throng,
Still bringing the ageless tidings
In the joyousness of song,

Of heaven and earth united
By Love's all-embracing span
That brightly illumined Bethlehem
With God's great love for man

Expressed in the human Jesus,
Who portrayed in works sublime
Man's true, eternal sonship
Beyond the mists of time.

For those angel song crescendos
Incite the dreaming earth
To make each Love-filled moment
A manger for holy birth

Till earth's responsive chorus
Records full harmony.
And dreaming yields all semblance
Of truth or reality

To the Christly ultimatum
Of man's heritage divine:
"Son, thou art ever with me,
And all that I have is thine."
