The world is in a state of chaos and confusion because the things we chose and values by which we have lived have proved false security, the Reverend Louis G. Knowles said in his sermon. ...

"If our nation is to live and flourish, it must return to the worship and service of God. ... If we will hallow our everyday life by reverencing God, undergird our whole economy with the Word of God and bring the way of life which Christ [Jesus] teaches into our way of life ... if we will go as faithfully to our houses of worship as we do to our jobs and listen with responsive hearts to the Word of God, then our lives will be enriched, ... and a new day of peace—God's peace—will come to the world."
