THE DIVINE ENERGIES OF SPIRIT

How effortless is the flight of a bird. We watch it soar into the sky and rise tirelessly, the strong wings moving in rhythm. Then the bird is lost to sight as it sails above the clouds, buoyant and free. Nature illustrates boundless energy. It hints at the wonders of the spiritual universe where Life, God, is the source of all action, and man reflects the infinite energies of Spirit.

Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, understood God and His universe to be wholly spiritual and good. He proved evil to be unreal. He utilized the divine energies of Spirit in overcoming every material condition, healing the sick and raising the dead. He said (John 10:10), "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

Christian Science illumines the Scriptures. It makes Jesus' teachings practical. It reveals God as Life, ever present and eternal. And it proves that man, the idea of God, is the full and complete expression of that Life.
