I have received so much joy and inspiration from the testimonies of others that I wish to tell of some of the beautiful healings I have had and witnessed through the effectual ministrations of Christian Science alone.

After a miscarriage I was unable to regain my health, and after three months I was still a semi-invalid, completely discouraged and without hope of ever again being well. Christian Science was then presented to me, and I began to study it. I gained strength rapidly and in a remarkably short time was restored to a normal, active, happy life—stronger than I had ever been. The Bible, although always loved, became a new book and a thousand times more precious.

Three years later my infant son was entirely healed of a severe case of curvature of the spine, although no one had thought he could live. This healing took about eight months. No material remedies of any kind were used. Our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 167), "Only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized." This course was strictly adhered to. The son is now a man; the healing has been permanent.
