I have had many things to be...

I have had many things to be grateful for since I was led to study Christian Science. First of all it showed me what God really is. My hitherto unanswered questions were answered, and I saw that here at last was a practical religion, a solution to all problems both mental and physical. My first physical healing was of that which appeared to be appendicitis, and this healing was brought about without my even seeing or knowing the practitioner. At my request a friend got in touch with a practitioner for me. Immediately I received relief, and on the third day I was perfectly free and able to resume my duties.

Christian Science has helped me to work out difficult human relationships. As I learned to separate error from person and glimpsed the oneness of Principle, relationships became harmonious. When my mother passed on I experienced a healing of grief such as I would not have believed possible coming into Science. It was instantaneous, and there was no sense whatever of loss or separation.

Then came the unfoldment of my coming to the United States. It was revealed to me where my real security lay—not with material schemes, however good, but with God. The day after landing I secured a position which has proved to be most harmonious. The question of family responsibility for my father was worked out in a remarkably short time, and all arrangements fell into place for the loved one to be satisfactorily cared for.
