Out of a heart filled with gratitude...

Out of a heart filled with gratitude I wish to share a healing I had in Christian Science. About twenty-five years ago I was bothered by impaired vision. I started reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy from the beginning. After about ten days my glasses fell and broke. I continued to read without glasses and have been doing so ever since. When I first went to a service in a Church of Christ, Scientist, I held the Hymnal far off. When I realized that good was not far off, but omnipresent, I was instantaneously healed of farsightedness.

Some months ago, when I had to get my driver's license renewed, I worked prayerfully until I definitely knew that in reality God is my Mind and that there can be no mistakes. Then the thought came: The truth has been declared. You know it is true. Why don't you act as if you believed it?

On entering the license bureau I was given a questionnaire which said five mistakes would be allowed. For a moment I felt quite relieved, but then I remembered Mrs. Eddy's statement (Science and Health, p. 336), "Allness is the measure of the infinite, and nothing less can express God." I received a grade of one hundred per cent. When I took the eye test and the examiner put a paper over one eye to test each one separately. I knew that the real man expresses perfection in every respect. This test too was passed without a mistake. I am deeply and profoundly grateful to God.— (Mrs.) Claire Pieper, Los Angeles, California.
